🍋 Lumiterra Dev Log #118 · Quiet Weeks, Strong Signals

This week in Lumiterra was calm, playful, and full of small moments that said a lot. While things looked quiet on the surface, behind the scenes we were recharging, sorting through feedback, and watching the community vibe together around one shared theme.

Touch some grass.

It started as a simple weekend me laughed about loading screens that never seem to end. One player said they missed those late night farming and crafting sessions and wished Lumiterra could stay open through the holidays so they could become a permanent resident of the Lumi world.

We hear you. Season 2 is being prepared with that exact feeling in mind. Smoother returns. Less friction. More time inside the world.

The comment sections were full of familiar energy. gLumi. gMonshape. gshmonad. Jokes about 98 percent loading. Teasing about the LumiPad team touching grass while agents never sleep. This kind of relaxed, anticipatory mood is special. It is what happens when a community trusts what is coming.

On the development side, most of the work this week stayed invisible, but important. Season 2 is being built on the foundation of Survival Season 1. The economy tests, the gameplay loops, and the early experiments helped us avoid many pitfalls. Right now the focus is on balancing, performance.

AI Agents and LumiPad are also moving quietly in the background. The team is recharging and preparing for some major launches on Monad. Agents will be running around the clock, and more AI elements will slowly weave into the game world. Smarter monsters. Better helpers. More life.

We are also collecting wishes for upcoming partner skins and collaborations. The community has already started imagining LumiGirl styles and Monad themed designs. Keep them coming.

On the creator side, all snapshot data has been safely preserved with multiple captures over the past months. The upcoming creator program will focus on quality, consistency, and deeper participation in the game world. If you want to be part of it, reach out to the mods.

There was also one question that kept popping up.

Where is the Lumi touch grass artwork.

We are waiting too. Maybe faf_animation will save us. Or maybe you will.

Not every week needs big announcements. Some weeks are for breathing, joking, and quietly building momentum together.

Touch that grass while you can. Soon you will be farming, hunting, trading, and staying up too late again.
